Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this website. This statement explains the accessibility checks we have completed, how to request information in another format and how to report a problem.
Accessibility status
On 24 September 2026, we ran Lighthouse mobile accessibility checks on all 21 public page routes in the site build; each scored 100. We also ran desktop-mode checks on the home, meet-the-team and accessibility pages at a 1,100-pixel viewport, and used the keyboard to open and close the shared navigation at that width. The review found and fixed header overflow, small-text contrast, carousel target size, accessible-name and font-loading issues. This combines automated checks with focused manual keyboard, structure and responsive-layout checks; it is not an independent full WCAG conformance audit or testing with disabled users. We cannot claim that every page and item of content conforms. We consider the website partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA while downloadable documents, embedded media, local content and the separate app receive further review.
What we changed
We made the navigation fit at tablet widths, improved contrast for small teal text, enlarged carousel controls, strengthened keyboard focus indicators, made the mobile menu close with Escape, aligned accessible names with visible labels and corrected the missing font request. We also removed a generic summary that did not describe this page.

Report an accessibility problem
If you find a page or feature difficult to use, please tell the local service through the contact page. If you can, include the page address and a short description of the problem. Do not include sensitive personal or health information in your report.
What we are doing to improve accessibility
We will continue to check the shared template and review feedback. Downloadable documents, embedded videos and tools, and local information can affect accessibility and need appropriate checks before they are relied on.
